Dessert for breakfast, anyone? This smoothie is incredibly thick and creamy, thanks to the greek yogurt, and it’s incredibly peanut butter-y, compliments of only one tablespoon! Personally, I love peanut butter. And we all know that in moderation, it can be fabulous for you, packing the heart-healthy fats that it does. So far this smoothie is seriously protein-providing, which is one of the best ways to start your day. Adding flax seeds to the smoothie rounds out this breakfast (or snack) all-star with some fiber.
- 1/2 cup non-fat milk
- 1/2 cup vanilla non-fat greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons ground golden flaxseed
- 1 tablespoon natural creamy peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 ripe banana, sliced
Process all the ingredients in a blender, and enjoy!
