Question: Is it okay to go to another class if you are still feeling sore from the last one?
The short answer is yes! One of the wonderful things about barre is that it never gets to be easy–there are always ways to challenge yourself and push yourself further. I have found that as I continually push myself to new limits, I will still be sore the next day or even a couple of days after. To this I say: embrace the soreness and burn. Going to another class when you are already sore may help you loosen up your muscles again while still giving you another intense workout.
However, the most important thing you can do is listen to your body. Sometimes we all need to take a day of rest to reenergize, recuperate and rebuild our bodies. It is important to find that balance between pushing yourself and taking a step back for a day. Staying hydrated and stretching throughout class and afterwards will also help keep muscles lean and loose. 
Remember, it is your body and your workout–challenge yourself when you can, modify when you need to and always be mindful of what your body is telling you.
